Day 34 - The start of the Caledonian Canal

A brief trip from Inverness Marina took us to the sea lock for the canal. Withe our license purchased we moved through the second lock and past a railway swing bridge to moor in the Caledonian Seaport.

It has been a warm if overcast day and following some domestic chores we visited Inverness and as evening approached there were pipe bands and dances around town to entertain the tourists here for the Scottish Open. Pipe band video below.
